Arianee takes YSL Beauté into Web 3
Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, an iconic brand of the L’Oréal group, has signed its arrival in Web 3.0 through a partnership with French company Arianee.
Aware of the progression of Web 3.0 and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the brand wishes to remain true to its pioneering spirit and open to new experiences.
In an effort to reward the engagement of its various communities around the world, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté will deploy a wallet hosted on the Ethereum blockchain (ETH) specifically dedicated to Web 3.0 through a collaboration with Arianee, a company dedicated to helping large enterprises transition to the Web of tomorrow.
As of June 15, subscribers to Yves Saint Laurent Beauté’s Twitter and Instagram accounts can pick up their copy of the brand’s first-ever NFT with international appeal. A true token of loyalty, this NFT will open the door to future airdrops from the brand, as well as access to many exclusive experiences.
Pierre-Nicolas Hurstel, Arianee’s CEO, welcomed the promising partnership:
“We are delighted to enable YSL Beauty to enter Web 3.0 with our end-to-end solution. Whether it’s creating NFTs, distributing them to the brand’s community or leveraging them with protected content, the brand is making full use of our platform.”
Rewards accessible now
Alongside the launch of its digital wallet, Yves Saint Laurent is also partnering with technology experts Wunderman Thomson France to be supported in its entry through Web 3.0.
As of June 21, YSL Beauté communities will begin to be rewarded via social tokens as part of a partnership with the decentralized platform P00LS and 2 artists from the music scene, Agathe Mougin and Kittens.
The activation of this event will be accompanied by a donation to “En Avant Toutes” and “It’s on US”, 2 NGOs respectively based in France and in the United States that work to prevent and fight against domestic violence.
For Virgile Brodziak, Managing Director of Wunderman Thompson, everything remains to be done in Web 3.0 and the opportunities are more than ever present:
“Web 3 and the metaverse are still unexplored spaces and we firmly believe that for brands like YSL Beauté, who will take the time to understand and connect deeply to this new culture, the opportunities are endless. We are proud to contribute to this groundbreaking project.”
