This British rock band is releasing an innovative new album on an NFT platform, which has the advantage of being eligible for the charts.
Muse and the will of the people 3.0
The last one was released in 2018, the next one will be available on August 26. British rock band Muse is making a comeback with its new self-produced album, “Will Of The People,” released by Warner Records and Helium-3.
This ninth album of the band will delight the ears of the rock fans, and the collectors of the web3. Warner Records has, in fact, partnered with Serenade, the NFT marketplace dedicated to music, to release “Will Of The People”, in the 3.0 bins. According to a release on August 1ᵉʳ, the album will be delivered in a new music format, Digital Pressing.
No need for Ether to buy it
Muse and its album “Will Of The People” inaugurate the Digital Pressing on Serenade. Fans of the band will therefore be able to acquire the work and the accompanying NFT. The price? £20 each, payable by credit or debit card.
For their holders, the musical NFTs serve as a certificate of authenticity and proof of ownership of the album attached to it. For artists, these NFTs allow them to receive specific and perpetual royalties on the works sold.
Hit Parade Music and Green NFT
Serenade plays different songs. It varies the tempo, to attract “emerging talent,” “icons,” and “established legends” to its platform.
The company collaborates with the UK’s Official Charts Company and Australia’s ARIA, a partnership that has made Serenade the first NFT marketplace eligible for the UK and Australian music charts.
Serenade also presents itself as an eco-friendly NFT platform. Digital Pressing would be a format with a relatively small carbon footprint, which would be equivalent to “1/10th of a Tweet”.
Jpeg and voxel art are not the only artistic works that progressively enrich the web3, NFT platforms, and metavers. Music allows to animate virtual universes and to breathe more life into them.
