Cryptocurrencies are present at the most famous consumer event showcasing high-tech products and digital innovation. The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Las Vegas 2022 will be an opportunity for crypto companies to promote their products and services, but more broadly, to contribute to the growth of the cryptosphere and especially some sectors such as metavers.
CES Las Vegas 2022 and cryptocurrencies: more visibility for metavers and NFTs
Big names in the cryptosphere will be wearing the colors of cryptocurrencies at the Consumer Electronics Show Las Vegas from January 5 to 7, 2022. Exchange FTX, NFT Blockparty platform, and software and hardware developer NFT Atomic Form, will be among the 2,200 exhibitors at the event, alongside other tech giants like LG, Samsung, Amazon, Nvidia, and Sony
According to the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which organizes CES, major brands will use the opportunity to explore and promote metaverse technologies, such as “hardware, software, blockchain and cryptocurrencies.”
Samsung is actually one of the tech giants that initially started from the cryptosphere, but decided to dive into cryptocurrencies. Samsung recently revealed plans for its future smart TVs that will allow viewers to “discover, buy and trade digital art” linked to NFTs in their living rooms. If the South Korean company continues down this path, it will certainly weigh in on the world of metavers and NFTs.
