Kylian Mbappé joins the Sorare venture as an ambassador and investor in a mutual and growing partnership with the French startup.
Sorare continues to seduce
The fantasy soccer startup, which recently expanded into baseball, unveils a new partner and not the least. Kylian Mbappé, crowned world champion with France in 2018 joins Sorare as an investor and ambassador.
Sorare will support the company Inspired By Kylian Mbappé (IBKM) which works to help disadvantaged youth discover and seize the opportunities offered by Web3.
As a reminder Sorare is the 4th French startup with the largest valuation. The latter is valued at $4.3 billion behind Qonto, Back Market and Doctolib.
It has nearly 1.8 million players worldwide and nearly 250 clubs and sports organizations are partners such as LaLiga or the Bundesliga which are respectively the Spanish and German soccer leagues.
Many soccer players have joined Sorare like Antoine Griezmann who had actually bought Mbappé’s card in June 2021. The footballer Gerard Piqué had also invested in Sorare in late 2020.
